Blast from the Past: The 20s and 60s

It is always so fun to have a modern vintage point of view in fashion and now we are revisiting to great fashion decades, like the 20s and 60s.

The 20s~ The Flapper Years

French Connection Flapper Dress
I love this dress, it is perfect for a cocktail summer party!

Spirit-Of-The-Moment Heels

These shoes are so beautiful! I want them so badly!!!

Paul & Joe Sister Bow Detail Dress with Pintucks
A very Mark Jacobs or Prada dress. I love it! This is for the girl who dresses for the love of fashion.

Shift Dress with Bead Embellishment
A beautiful dress perfect for this trend! I just love all the beading, it is so beautiful!

The 60s~ The mod years

Missoni Mare
If you are going to celebrate the 60s you must wear Missoni!

ASOS Shift Dress in Boucle with Fluro Piping
So cool! The perfect Mod dress. Wear day or night.

Textured Coat With Contrast Collar
I love this cute coat! Perfect for the changing weather. And you can wear for formal or informal situations.

French Connection Beaded Dress
Disco Season starts a bit a later but this mix of both decades it's perfect for a night out!

This ends my fashion trends of the Spring Season series. Until next week celebrating more fashion moments!

Metallics and Sweet Pastels

Metallics are so fun! Of course we don't want to end up looking like tin man, so check out this awesome ideas and how to shimmer in a chic way.

Premium Silk Shimmer Pleat Dip Hem Skirt
This skirt is so pretty and feminine, its also pastel, so you accomplish two trends in one. Keep it very simple, since the skirt is such a statement piece. I would wear it with a white tank top and black high heels.

Shimmer Shorts

These shorts are fun! You can dress them down or up. Wear them with a chic blazer and sandals. So chic!

French Connection Sequin Dress
What a beautiful way to shine away! Keep accessories to minimal and pair with simple shoes.

Emma Cook Lurex Cardigan With Color Blocking

This sweater is so cool. Wear with a skirt, jeans, a dress, open or closed. Dressed up or down. Make it your own every time.

This Spring wear Sweet Pastels, you will look so pretty! I don't usually wear pastels but these make me question my fashion instinct.

ASOS Embroidered Flower Dress
So lady like and pretty. Wear this dress to work or a formal day time event. Have fun with the accessories!

ZARA Asymmetric Seamed Top
I love this Zara top! The design and color, it's so cool. You can wear it with jeans, shorts, skirt, pants, whatever you want.

Jane Strapless Dress
This dress is so sweet and sexy! I like the combination of both. You can wear it for a formal event during the day or at night. Accessorize as you wish.

Nishe Chiffon Blouse with Bow Embroidery
I think this is a cool top. Of course, you must be careful how you wear it because you don't want to look like your coming out of a 70s magazine. I wouldn't wear it with a belt like the picture, but I like it with shorts. It balances the girly. Wear with skinny jeans as well.

Tomorrow is our last day of fashion trends. Check out my Blast From the Past: 20s and 60s post.

Graphic Art Deco and Floral Prints

I have been getting used to not wearing much print, so when I saw that print was so "in" I got a little nervous. But when I did my research and found all these amazing items, then I got excited!

Ted Baker Digital Print Shift Dress

This dress is so chic! Wear with simple accessories if any, it doesn't need it. The dress is all you need.

Pattern Military Sweater Jacket

I love this jacket, I want it!!! You can wear it with pretty much anything.

Eden Skirt
Aahhh this skirt! Look at it! How beautiful!!! Wear it with a simple top, the skirt is the outfit. Also minimal accessories, I mean it!

FP New Romantics Geo Embroidered Cutout Dress

Another beauty! This trend is easy and so pretty... I would wear it exactly like the picture. For shoes I would do wedges, cool ones.

ZARA Printed Blazer

Everything Zara does its awesome, so this jacket is no different. Keep it cool though, or else you can look like an old english lady.

ASOS Woven T-Shirt With Mixed Square Print
This top can be worn with denim, white or color pants, with a skirt. So have fun with it!

Indian Enchantment Dress

How pretty? For the romantic girl!

Garden Party Oxfords
I love oxfords and I love these ones! They are so fun and cool. Keep the outfit simple, make the shoes the center of attention, as they deserve it!

Tomorrow it will be all about Metallics and Sweet Pastels

Neon and Pretty in Pink

WARNING: These two trends as fun as they are, can be dangerous, so put attention as to how to wear it.

I actually LOOOOVEEEE Neon, so when I read that they are one of the color trends of the season I got really excited! Check it out... (click on image to send you to direct link)

Nanette Lepore Skirt - Sweet Sixteen Pleated

I would wear this skirt with an oatmeal color top, very simple and straight lines. You don't want to add more color or design to such a strong skirt.

Ettika Gold Colored Rhinestone Chain and Neon Satin Bracelet

For those who don't know how to wear the trend. Just wear a small accessory like this one. So fun and cool, it will get everyones attention, in a good way of course!

MSGM Lace Shirt
The top is fun! The color on the lace makes it a special piece. I wouldn't wear with a skirt like in the picture. Since you are wearing such an overpowering color do a neutral color and not a mini skirt. You are wearing a lace transparent neon top, to not do a "fashion faux pas" wear it with a pencil skirt or a fuller skirt but very clean straight lines. Do it in a neutral color or even a blue would be fun. Do the same for pants, it would look awesome with pants.

Neon Ombre Rhinestone Headband
Another awesome accessory! This would be cool with hair down or up.

Look Pretty in Pink. Im still a little girl at heart because I love pink, but one must be careful wearing this color, don't want to look like an actual little girl. Here are some great options!

RED Valentino Taffeta Dress

I'm in love with this dress! Keep it all very simple, no accessories like the model and a very neutral shoe option. As for your hair, do something simple and sexy. Up or down would be fine.

ASOS Double Breasted Blazer With Gold Buttons
This jacket is so cool. You can wear it like the model or with all white underneath would be cool too. Just remember that you want to look cool not super girly 80s, so wear with straight lines modern items.

Gryphon Dress - V Neck with Detachable Belt

This dress is many trends in one. You have the high/low length, metallics, print and pink. So it is in itself a whole fashion trend! Keep it simple like the picture and you will look amazing!

Equipment Print Collar Silk Shirt

This blouse is beautiful! With a skirt like the picture would look great or with a pair of denim. Neutral colors is the secret, you can wear a fuller skirt but do it in neutral.

Did you like? Tomorrow it will be all about Graphic Art Deco and Floral Prints!
